I debated buying the Eufy Robot Vacuum cleaner for months. It’s a fairly large purchase and I couldn’t justify it for the longest time. But, thanks to Amazon Prime Day, I pulled the trigger and it ended up being one of my favorite purchases of 2020.
I have a dog and a cat (and I myself have long hair) so you can only imagine how often we have to clean our floors. Before the robot vacuum we relied on sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping. Now we only need to mop which shaves hours off our chore list every month.
When I was researching different robovacs, I knew I wanted one that was durable, powerful, and worked well with pet hair. I read many reviews, and asked my friends, and the Eufy by Anker came up more often than not.
So, that’s exactly what we ordered 3 months ago.

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT MY EUFY 30C ROBOT VACUUM
I almost have nothing negative to say about the Eufy. It is incredible.
Not only does it leave our laminate floors free of pet hair, but it even works well on kitty litter and other debris!
The Eufy 30C has been such a huge time saver. We have it set to run three times a week as of now but I’ll probably be bumping that up. It fills up the tray each time we run it which is shocking to me. How do pets shed so much!?
The robot vacuum is probably the best invention I’ve laid my hands on in ages. Here’s what I love about my Eufy RoboVac:
- It is powerful and collects way more dust than we thought possible!
- It comes with an app where you can schedule a cleaning routine.
- There is a remote control so you can adjust the robot vacuum’s path from the comfort of your couch.
- It’s easy to disassemble and clean (and even comes with a little brush to sift through the dusty air filter)
- The Eufy package also includes magnetic boundary strips (still haven’t tried these as it’s easier for us to just lift our charging cords!)
- The Eufy RoboVac is quiet compared to a standard vacuum cleaner
- The size is perfect for slipping under our couch and TV stands.
- It can run for 100 minutes without charging
- I read that it was the best robot vacuum for pets
Eufy 30c Concerns:
Despite all of the pros to the robovac, it does have some downsides worth noting.
The biggest adjustment to using a robot vacuum is that you have to pick up everything off of the floor. You can’t leave any cords or loose strings lying around because these vacuums have a mind of their own. And if they swallow up a cord, the shrill beep of the Eufy notifying you is enough to shame you into never leaving anything out again.
Other than that, it’s fairly easy to use but I do have some additional concerns to the Eufy specifically. Among these are:
- It gets stuck on bath mats (we usually just close our bathroom door so it doesn’t start swallowing the mats).
- It doesn’t go back to its charging station. It will vacuum for hours without stopping and then eventually just runs out of batteries and stops in its place. Since I work from home I am able to place it back in.
- The tray fills up every time you vacuum so it has to be cleaned regularly.
- It scares my dog and cat (but honestly this is kind of cute).
All in all, I’d say this robot vacuum is worth the price. It might seem expensive at first but it saves so much time and headache by keeping our home clean.
There are also versions that include a mop, I’ll have to try that one next!
